Services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Patrons

The library currently employs one student studying ASL interpreting to assist our Deaf and Hard of Hearing patrons. Reference assistance in ASL is available the following days and times at the library reference desk on the 1st floor.

If you have questions, please Ask a Librarian or call us at 409-880-7264 (toll free: 1-866-375-5565).

If you feel your needs warrant a professional sign language interpreter or you need an interpreter outside of the hours listed below, please contact the Disability Resource Center/Communication Access at CADH@lamar.edu prior to your visit to the library.

ASL interpreter services will resume in the spring 2015 semester. We apologize for any inconvenience.
